| Okay, not really a Saturday run. But I did want to get this picture of Carmen in here somewhere. Actually, this was a Saturday - November 19th, 2005 - exactly 100 years after the running of the very first Dipsea race. And Carmen did run on this Saturday. She dressed in 1905 attire with cigar, put on her best Dipsea Flyers team shirt, and ran the original Dipsea course. Coincidentally, some others had exactly the same idea. Later there was even a vintage air show featuring a 1905 helicopter. |
