| This bridge crossing Bill Williams Creek was washed out in the New Years Eve storm. Bill Williams had a cabin somewhere along this creek in the 1860's. Rumor was that he deserted from the Confederate army and made off with an army pay box full of gold - perhaps burying it somewhere near here. Ever since, treasure seekers have searched and dug along this creek. |
