| Mt. Broderick on the left with Half Dome behind. Liberty Cap is on the right. The narrow canyon between them has no trail. There are sheer cliffs on both sides of a narrow, verdant meadow with a amall stream. From the look of the land and the topo map, I'd bet the Merced River once flowed through here rather than over Nevada Falls. |
