| I still can't believe this. There are hundreds of people on these cables. Off to the sides is really, really steep granite. You've got maybe two people abreast inside and then people on both sides on the outside with traffic going both up and down with no real organization. Yet everyone just grabs on and goes - presumably thinking that everyone else is doing it so it must be okay. And the amazing thing is that no one falls, so it really must actually be okay. This goes on all day long, every day, all Summer long with no supervision, or even presence from the Park Service. Amazing!!! And, in a way, reassuring that people can pull this off. |
